This is my first attempt at an online journal, though I've been active in forums for a number of years. I am a California transplant, I've been here for 11 years. My husband and I moved out here to pursue careers in the entertainment industry. He's doing great (an Emmy award winning writer!) and I am on hiatus from voiceovers to raise our two beautiful sons. We've been married for 13 years and my family is the biggest part of my life. I volunteer with an organization that helps women with breastfeeding difficulties and am a member of several "crunchy mommas" type of clubs that place an emphasis on living the holistic lifestyle. I still enjoy the occasional cheeseburger and coke, though. I have a foul mouth, but most people don't know that until they really get to know me. I enjoy a good nasty joke, and back in what feels like another life, I was a stand-up comic with a very raunchy act! Sometimes I feel like I'm living a double life, but slowly I am surrounding myself with people who understand both sides of me - the raunchy funny chic, and the adoring mom who loves her children so much she can barely stand it. I hope as my sons grow they can appreciate both sides!
